Odette Butcher

Odette grew up in a family business for 25 years and from as early as the age of 8, she was serving and transacting with clients. Odette spent 10 years based in London when she lived, worked and traveled extensively. In London, she was trained by and worked for the best world class Investment Banks. On her return to South Africa she spent 4 years working for Sanlam as a Project Manager whilst she set up her first ecommerce platform in 2005.  Celestial Gift Experiences ~ www.celestialgifts.co.za is Odette’s personal bucket list which she makes available for clients to purchase in the form of gift vouchers.  Celestial Gifts is Odette’s successful passion project of 15 years and boasts a whopping 500% increase in turnover during a recession.  She attributes her ongoing business success to discipline, consistency and making the right decisions at the right time. For the longest time, Odette could see a pressing need for an eCommerce Agency and so it was born during lock down 2020 when Celestial Gift Experiences went into hibernation.  Odette has incredible project management skills specialising in setting up and the execution of small businesses, ecommerce platforms,  building restacks, coordinating massive cost containment exercises (where she saved up to GBP3M for her clients) as well as IT projects and Insurance Product implementations for Sanlam.

Mike Clapp has to be the most hard working, committed and loyal colleague, team member and leader you could have on your team and/or looking after your business.  He is extremely passionate about team playing (and managing) which is testimony in how he conducts himself.  Thoughts, words and actions are key where he exerts his efforts and one area where he’s always thrived is onwards and upwards. He has an upbeat, positive, charismatic persona on the outside and an introspective, thorough, methodical way of executing tasks.  Mike is a task master, he is organised and always prepared.  He has an extensive network of professional friends and acquaintances who he’s known for years from the various positions and industries where he has worked.

From a very young age Mike worked towards and accomplished positions of leadership.  This began in his army days during the 80’s where he completed his national service, along with subsequent camps and finished having achieved the position as Corporal.  In his career with blue chip corporates such as MB Technologies Group, Tarsus Technologies,  Pinnacle Business Solutions & BCL Medical Waste Management, he has consistently held senior management positions to include branch manager, senior account manager, regional manager, regional GM and finally COO with his most recent role.

From working towards her degree in Computer Generated Multimedia to assisting in the testing and operational side on various ecommerce projects, there is nothing that this digital wiz can’t achieve.

Daniela has gained experience in the ecommerce world by venturing headfirst into job opportunities straight out of high school. She started off in Johannesburg working across many ecommerce titles to then making her way back to Cape Town to start her journey with the Bucket List Genie & the Celestial Gift Experience ecommerce platform.

Daniela has a dedication to learning new skills & for sharing knowledge. Having worked as a tutor for two years, teaching children between the ages of 7 and 18, Daniela has practiced great patience & compassion to become the hardworking individual that she is today.  She has rare qualities found in someone so young to include impeccable business communication skills, customer support, conflict resolution & trouble shooting. Her high levels of empathy & appropriateness, interweave through all the tasks that she completes to make her delivery ever personal, helpful & valuable.
